Larisa Kablar

Larisa Kablar, a dynamic 17-year-old student from Isny Gymnasium in the Allgäu region of Baden-Württemberg, but residing in Bavaria, is poised to enter the 11th grade this fall. With a deep-seated passion for media, Larisa's journey in journalism began early, nurtured by creative family activities and her role on the editorial team of her school's newspaper, Lesezeichen.

In June, Larisa participated in the 195th Youth Press Congress in Paderborn, organized by Young Leaders GmbH. This Berlin-based educational center empowers socially and politically active young people aged 15 to 21. The congress offered Larisa hands-on experience in creating media content across print, television, and web formats.

Since kindergarten, Larisa has been fascinated by media, crafting a homemade magazine with her parents from newspaper clippings. Her future goals include studying psychology and writing about it, either in books or on a blog. Larisa's enthusiasm for the opportunities provided by Young Leaders has seen her attend an academy and a workshop previously.

Beyond journalism, Larisa is deeply involved in her school community. She co-founded the debate club, contributed to the school garden club by creating and managing its website, and participates in the theater group and yearbook team. She also initiated a pen-pal project with a school for disabled students in Kempten, aiming to break down societal prejudices through regular exchanges.

In her spare time, Larisa manages the Instagram account for a Fair Trade shop in Isny and has recently trained as a school first responder. Her contributions to her school's activities, including the production of a school trailer and involvement in organizing school services, underscore her commitment to personal growth and community service.

Larisa's drive and dedication mark her as a young journalist to watch, poised to make significant contributions to the field.
